The display is being arranged by a Licenced Professional for the Safety of you & others.
The Newmachar Community Fireworks Display Committee was set up in June 2016 with the intention of arranging a professional community fireworks display in Newmachar around Bonfire Night. The committee are all volunteers.
This Display is funded solely on Donations from the Local Residents & Businesses, previous displays were a huge success, but yet again COVID-19 strikes so plans are now ON HOLD until 2022!
Our plans are to promote civic responsibility by uniting as a community to arrange a single Firework event, relieving the stress that prolonged individual displays can have on young families, livestock and domestic animals in the area. We truly believe that consolidating our community efforts in a single larger display will allow those that are potentially affected by fireworks to plan around a scheduled event and minimise the large number of private displays that can run for an extended period in the run up to, and after, Bonfire night.
